How do we get started?
Please reach out via email or the contact form with some details. We’ll then schedule a time via phone or Skype to discuss your project. Once we decide what best fits your needs, I’ll send a proposal for review. When the proposal is approved, a contract and deposit invoice will follow. A 50% deposit is required on all projects before they are placed on the calendar.
How much does it cost?
Since every single project is different, I offer customized package options that accommodate a variety of business needs and budgets. Once we have a chance to talk, I’ll send you a proposal with options to select from.
Can I customize a package?
Absolutely! I offer standard packages but I’m happy to create a customized proposal tailored to your specific needs.
How long do projects take to complete?
The timeframe depends on the scope of the project, but typically branding takes 4-6 weeks from start to finish. Websites take 8-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the site. If you have a specific target date in mind, please let me know straight away and we’ll formulate a mutually agreeable schedule.
Will I receive editable source files?
Of course! For branding projects, once the final project payment has been made, you will receive a full package of editable Illustrator vector file, along with various formats including JPG, PDF and PNG.
Do I get ownership of my logo?
Yes! The final project payment ensures you own the full ownership and rights to the final approved design. Any concepts that are not chosen remain under my copyright.
I don’t live near you, is that okay?
Not to worry, being in separate cities or countries is perfectly fine. Although I’m based in San Clemente, CA, I’ve worked with clients across the globe. Many of my clients work remotely, but with today’s technology it’s very easy to stay connected via email, phone or Skype
What web platforms do you typically design for?
I typically design for WordPress or SquareSpace. If you have another platform in mind, let’s talk about what will work best for your product or service.
Is website development cost included in my package?
No. The costs of development vary greatly depending on the complexity of your site and the platform you choose. However I work closely with a number of developers that I can recommend. If one of my preferred developers is suitable for your project, I will coordinate and oversee your project until completion. Otherwise, you are welcome to work with the developer of your choice, but I will not be involved in the development process.
